Corgi Goes Missing in Texas, Turns Up in Hawaii
Bethany, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi went missing at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport during a trip Saturday from Seattle to Jackson, Mississippi. But her owner, Paul Chen, said she never made it to Mississippi and reported the Corgi missing Sunday afternoon.
He made up a missing poster because he was concerned that his dog had been lost or even stolen by someone from American Airlines.
However, Airline officials quickly found Bethany in Honolulu late Sunday.
On Monday Bethany was headed back to D/FW International Airport on Monday and will be reunited with her owner on Tuesday. Bethany has been under the care of a veterinarian and has been well
taken care of the entire time.
American Airlines acknowledged that the big mistake happened at D/FW Airport and will look into what happened with "the misconnect" but has been focused on returning Bethany to her owner as soon as possible.
"I don't know how or why she got there, but I am glad she is safe and sound" says her Paul Chen.
